So Camo, what ever got you into Snowboarding?
I went on a family trip to Adelaide in 2001 and came across an indoor snow run called Mt Theberton, which no longer exists. It was one slope around 60 metres long but that was all I needed and from then on I was hooked.
Yeah rad, so where’d you go from there?
Well from there I finished school…. just, then headed up to Buller for a TAFE course in 05 which meant I was there all year round an doing seasons became a lot easier
So this was your first real taste of snowboarding I’m guessing, moving up from the great Mt Theberton. How’d you find yourself to be such a park junkie?
I guess skating when I was younger had a lot to do with me riding so much park but the main reason would have to be Australian weather conditions (Mt Buller especially). Even on the days that were windy, overcast or raining, my mates and I would still be out there hiking a down bar for hours.
So you’ve been doing seasons for a while, how do you keep yourself living this lifestyle?
When I’m not at the snow I’m in Melbourne working and saving as much as I can, then up at Buller I’d work in various kitchens dishying which gives me plenty of ride time
