TTR O’Neill Evolution 2011 – TV Show Highlights – Slopestyle

10 minutes of highlights from the TTR O’Neill Evolution TV Show. Watch one of the worlds best snowboarding events in Full HD!The 6Star O’Neill Evolution slopestyle course was built next to the halfpipe at the bottom of Jakobshorn mountain and featured two challenging features for riders to hit. The first was a kicker with two super poppy take-offs measuring 40-feet and 55-feet and the second was a choice of three rails including an up-flat-down box, a pole jam and a flat-down rail. Sebastien Toutant was on fire on the slopestyle course today and won the finals with a Cab double cork 1260 to a backside boardslide to underflip out on his final run. Seb had this to day about his win, “Second 6Star win of the season is so amazing today. To ride with my good friends and every run we were stepping it up. On my last run I was outside of the podium and stomped my best Cab 12 ever. I plan to go to BEO next and give it my best on the TTR Tour.” Fellow Canadian, Mark McMorris was able to put down a Cab double cork 1260 to frontside tailslide to 450 out after a hard slam on his first run to take second place. And, American rider, Eric Willet, who has been making a name for himself over the past two seasons in the contest scene took third place with a switch backside double cork 1260 to backside boardslide to 450 out.

Team Rider: Steve ‘NOSEY’ Parsons

Stephen Parsons, better known as ‘Nosey’, is probably one of the most energetic and upbeat people you may ever meet. Even when seriously hung over, this guy still has a smile a mile wide. In fact, for the mere mortal of us, it can be a bit frustrating to deal with someone who is just seriously high on life all the time. Come down once in a while dude!

Nosey is Hotham new school, and while he rocks the new school vibe with the latest colour trends and threads, he is also one of the most approachable guys with a friendly word for everyone, and is someone who is happy to have a beer with … well, just about anyone!

Nosey is hailing from Avalon, NSW, Nosey has been riding for nine years, spending the last four as a Hotham local. Tall and lean, you can’t miss this guy, who although lanky looking has loads of style that makes him hard to miss on the hill. A self-confessed ‘fat guy in a skinny body’ if he’s not eating meat pies or drinking beer, he’s definitely out on the snow!

Halldor makes it to the slope style finals and Shaun talks about the party mark.

Is there anything that scares you about snowboarding?
the fact that i have to stop at some point!

Triff’s shredication started 7 yrs ago riding Mt Selwyn family ski resort on a school trip as a grom . He is now 23 yrs old and is one of the local guns and a stand out rider not to mention a super tech jibber but smooth with a loose style.

Originally from Wagga Wagga NSW he now live’s in sydney working towards the next shred trip o.s for a few months in the summer before heading back to good old Buller. Loves the cali sunshine riding sierra nevada range from bear valley to tahoe. He holds it down with the known riders in the off-season rail jams, busts his ass working in a ski hire shop and every chance he gets he’s shredding the slopes with a steezy posse.

Triff has a long skate history which shows in his riding, rails, urban jibs and jumps. Now on his fifth season at Buller you’ll see him rockin around the slopes with super baggy gear and a smile on his face. A very positive progressive snowboarder and FYVE are stoked to have him on the team..
