FYVE is a huge fan of YGAP
YGAP is an entirely volunteer based, not-for-profit organisation that provides an avenue for individuals to become involved in international development. YGAP enables volunteers to join innovative, collaborative and practical initiatives by combining their unique networks, specific vocational skills and common ambition of fighting poverty. Through field-based partnerships, YGAP aims to ‘bridge the gap’ between the aspiration vulnerable children have for an education, with the opportunities available to them. In our work across universities and corporations, YGAP’s vision is to become an outstanding source of inspiration and opportunity for all involved.

Winter X Games Europe Final Prep
RPS Boardstore Skate Jam Elsternwick, Sponsored by FYVE

RPS JAM was a great success again! Loud beats pumping; families, kids, weather hot [I mean hot as hell!]; mid 30s with warm wind; snags, Monster drinks and some serious air being thrown down.. All ages event with new and old school demonstrated on the refinished Elwood bowls. Tim Smith FYVE team rider gave us the craziest trick of the DAY.. Stomp 3 back flips out of the Bowl with local ripper Matt airing 11 foot out of the bowl. Big shout out to Bayside City Council, Youth Services and Yo Yo Raphy and Co. for working the mic and providing the tunes! And lets not forget the stellar performance by Brighton Rotary club providing everyone with free snags!
It was an event with huge product give-away’s including wheels, decks, caps ,trucks, JB HiFi vouchers, more decks, Tees and then more.. To all the skaters and scooter riders who were killing it congrats…. For the Mums and Dads out there, next Xmas buy your kids a skateboard not a Scooter, way cooler.. They will thank you when they are older…

Gooch Street 2 Premier last Night at Collingwood Town Hall – all ages – BYO Alcohol [haha imagine the madness of the night!!]..

A massive hall packed out with Industry big names skaters that rocked up for the event. One of those experiences where you just had to BE THERE, to feel the crazy energy. FYVE Team Rider Zac scored a full section at the first part in the movie welcomed by a roar from the crowd and James Moore another Team Rider also wow’ed the crowd having everyone off their seat. Tony ‘t-bags’ Woodward
also riding was the MAN behind everything and starring in the FILM. SNAPPER’s ENDING had the crowd frothing.
As having a BYO Event, things did get a bit messy , there were people towards the end smoking spliffs and a few punch-ons – but, this happened AFTER the end of the movie! The Police Taskforce full-on came in, busted a few under aged drinkers and added to the excitement ensuring a peaceful end to a great event. Overall the night was a great success, everyone left happy and partied on!
A bunch of FREE FYVE product and Trumpy skatey’s were given out by ‘NEW’ Team Rider Tony ‘t-bags’ Woodward the MAN behind GOOCH STREET.
